Okay, so I guess this one kind of takes a mixture of the first two tips because to volunteer you have to get involved and be brave. First I will tell you a little bit about my volunteering background.
So as you can probably tell, I am very new to blogging. I really want this blog to help and inspire people. I have so much that I want to say and I don’t know if I’ll ever get the chance to say it all but having this blog will help me get one step closer. I really hope that you enjoy the first couple of posts that I have. I plan to post about a lot more stuff other than high school. I want to post about all of the college experiences that I will be having and also crafts! I love crafts. I sew, knit, and occasionally crochet and make jewelry. Eventually I’d like to start an advice column too. Something like “Dear Jess”. I just love helping people. This blog can really turn out to be anything! We’ll just have to see where it takes me. I hope that you’ll be along for the ride and help this blog grow. (please subscribe) I’m getting this whole blogging thing slowly but surely. Thanks for reading.
2. Be Brave.

1. Get Involved! (but not too involved)
Joining clubs and sports is a great way to make friends! At least when you show up for your first meeting you’ll know that everyone there has a common interest, which is an easy conversation starter. Some of you may think that if you didn’t join freshman year that it’s too late but that is so false! Better late than never is one of the mottoes that I live by. I know some people who even waited until their senior year to join things and they were still just as welcomed and enjoyed the same experience that everyone else did.
